According to the person that took these pics, he has advised that they are from May 8, 1955 which was a doubleheader with the Cubs. I had been leaning towards the Cubs based on the scoreboard but it was difficult to determine.

The date of May 8, 1955 seems to work. The pitcher in this pic is Steve Ridzik who only started two games for the Reds. His uniform number was 33. The game is in the top of the third inning. The Cubs eventually scored one run in this inning. I am working on the remaining players.

We had already determined that this photo was from May 8, 1955. The Cubs are at bat in the top of the third inning. Gene Baker has just gotten an infield hit to shortstop as Clyde McCullough is going to third and Jim Bolger is on his way to second.

This photo features eight members of the 1955 Reds as Johnny Temple is at second base, Smokey Burgess is at catcher, Gus Bell is in center field, Big Klu is at first base, Ray Jablonski is in left field, Chuck Harmon is at third base, Roy McMillan is at short, and Steve Ridzik is on the mound. The only player in the starting lineup that is not show is right fielder Wally Post.
