I would have to say that this photo was definitely taken in 1967. Of course Jim Brewer is the Dodgers' pitcher that is in the photo. In looking at the scoreboard, the Reds were involved in pre-game preparations and the scoreboard shows Brewer starting. He did not start any games for the Dodgers during the 1968, 1969, and 1970 season. He started 11 games in 1967 and a couple of games in 1965.

All of the players numbers that I could make out on the scoreboard were on the 1967 rosters with the exception of the Reds' shortstop. That one is a little confusing but if Brewer started there is no way this could be after 1967.

Also I am unsure when the Reds began using the team name as opposed to the city. On the scoreboard, it is showed Dodgers and Reds.

December, 2007:     Chuck...I have identified this pic wrong for a very long time. I had thought that it was 1967 because of the scoreboard. It is showing Jim Brewer as the pitcher and Brewer started against the Reds in 1967.

However...that appears to be wrong. If you look at the signs in this pic and compare it will all of the other pics from 1970, it is identical. Here is what has happened. The clock is showing the time as 11:50 A.M. I believe the actual lineup is from the night before. If you look at the boxscore from June 20, 1970, Brewer was the last Dodgers' pitcher. Also usually the starting pitcher's number is on the scoreboard beside of the team's name. It is blank as well as is the line score on the scoreboard.

On Sunday, June 21, the Reds played a Sunday doubleheader. These are the pre-game activities before the game. Brewer is actually not the starting pitcher but the lineup has not been removed from the night before.

This is the only logical explanation that I can come up with.
