Old Crosley is easy to find, if you know where to look. First of all, the site is in Cincinnati, on the west side of town and I-75. Basically, it is about 1.5 miles NW of downtown.

The easiest way to find the old field site is to travel south on I-75 to the Western Avenue exit. The exit virtually deposits you at the intersection of Findlay Street and Western Avenue. This was where the right field corner and the bleachers gate were loacted.

From downtown take Vine Street north to Central Parkway. Turn left (west) on Central Parkway and follow it west, then north as it turns to Findlay Street. Turn left (west) on Findlay Street and follow it west to Western Avenue.

Again...The most confusing thing about discerning the layout of old Crosley Field is that Dalton Street, going north, used to end at Findlay Street. Now, it continues northward right through what used to be the center of Crosley. Without knowing this, your first thought will be, how did it fit down here? There's no room for it!

This may help you locate it as well...Click Here for an aerial photo of the Crosley neighborhood as it appears now, with the area Crosley once occupied, highlighted in red. Now, let's plop Crosley Field into the picture (or at least the best that I can). Are you beginning to see it now?
