This letter, written by Billy Sullivan, was an attempt to sell Powell Crosley on some sort of medical diagnostic device. I don't know yet, what exactly it was, or if Mr. Crosley ever became interested in it.

"The letter to Crosley was the rough copy and I suspect there were photographs which would have been attached to the original copy that he sent to Powell. Billy had a law degree from Notre Dame and he kept triplicates of many of his letters and many rough outs. I never found any photos of the machine. Billy was considered a locker room lawyer because of his degree. It was rumored that Charles Comiskey paid for Billy's Notre Dame law school but my letters showed that Comiskey gave Billy a contract to play with the White Sox as soon as he would graduate. Comiskey and Billy's father were close friends from years before." - Eric Bowyer
