Sunday, April 25, 1948 - Doubleheader with the Pirates

The Reds won the first game 7-6, with a Hank Sauer solo home run in the bottom of the ninth. The Reds lost the second game 13-10, but Hank Sauer had 2 home runs in that game and Ted Kluszewski also had his first major league home run. There were 28,086 fans in the park for the Sunday doubleheader.
