The Holy Name Parade?

Things to notice about 1920 Redland Field:

1) Lack of upper decks above the outfield grandstands...
2) Lack of lighting towers along fences and on the rooftops...
3) The expanse of the playing field...
4) The "wall" around the field in front of the grandstands... (by the time they were done expanding the seating forward at Crosley, the front row of seats was actually "below" the playing surface)
5) The lack of the terrace in center and right fields. Remember, the left field terrace was natural, but the center and right field terrace was added in 1936. In the photo above you can see the center field wall appears "higher" than in more recent photos where the terrace had been added. This is true of the wall at the foot of the right field bleachers, also.

This appears to be a parade of some sort taking place at Redland Field. It could be The Holy Name Parade which occured each fall. See "Crosley's Other Uses" branch...
